Jr. Software Developer / C# Developer

  • Responsibilities:

    • Work on enhancements and modifications to the existing software systems as needed.
    • Work closely with the QA/QC team to resolve bugs in existing systems by establishing the root cause, providing efficient solutions and proactively communicate potential problems.
    • Participate in design, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documentation as required by the director of development.
    • Write queries and sprocs to aid the QA team in testing the various systems.
    • Facilitate the initial testing of applications, prior to sending them to Quality Assurance and again before actual deployment.
    • Follow proper software coding practices and other development techniques.
    • Analyze the performance of hardware and software interfaces, identifying alternatives for optimizing the usage of computer resources.
    • Provide technical assistance and routine consultation in the usage of operating systems and software.

  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree in computer engineering, science or related discipline.
    • 1-3 years software development experience using C#, ASP.NET (2.0 and above), SQL Server 2005, web services and JavaScript.
    • Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio (2005 and above) and Visual SourceSafe.
    • Project timeline estimation, design, and documentation skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work collectively in a team as well as independently depending on project requirements.
    • Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
    • Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, always looking for ways to improve and promote quality.
    • Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.

Sr. Software Engineer

  • Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for maintaining, remodeling, improving and developing new enhancements to the existing software systems as needed.
    • Move into a senior role involving software design and development for all new and existing products.
    • Mentor the team into following certain standardization and basic rules during development.
    • Work closely with the QA/QC team for testing applications before and after deployment.
    • Adopt the agile development methodology for all software development and the RAD methodology for bug fixes.
    • Provide technical assistance to other departments of the company.

  • Minimum Requirements:

    • Master?s degree in computer engineering, science or related discipline.
    • Previous experience with C# and VB.NET.
    • Previous experience with ASP.NET (2.0 and above)
    • Previous experience with SQL Server 2005, including coding of stored procedures.
    • Previous experience with web technologies involving web services, xml, html, JavaScript, CSS and Flash.
    • Previous experience with vxml.
    • Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio (2005 and above) and Visual SourceSafe.
    • Project timeline estimation, design, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work in a small, dynamic programming team with numerous responsibilities.
    • Self starter with ability to produce high quality code and solutions with minimal guidance.
    • Excellent code troubleshooting and testing skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
